NIKE Mens Pro-Combo Forged Irons

Made via a two-step forging process, the new Pro Combo irons are uniquely designed to provide balanced performance for players of all handicaps.

Long Irons: 2-, 3- and 4-irons carry more weight in the sole, and from heel and toe, to create a lower center of gravity. More forgiving/larger sweet spot promotes better shots and increased confidence. More offset and wider soles, reducing the risk of slicing by allowing more time for the clubhead to come square.

Mid Irons: The back cavities in the 5-, 6- and 7-irons are partially filled with weight pads that balance forgiveness and accuracy. Clubhead weight is distributed progressively toward the toe as loft increases, which allows for better feel.

Short Irons: The 8-, 9-iron and pitching wedge are blades, each with a higher center of gravity. Prevents shots from ballooning, making for a precise and consistent short game.

NIKE Mens Slingshot Irons
Everyone is looking for some magic for their game. Finally, the Slingshot iron design will benefit the professional and the beginner and everyone in between.

Slingback Technology: A metal bar arcing from heel to toe - positions the center of gravity (CG) low, rearward and in the heel of long irons to facilitate squaring the club head at impact and to create a higher ball flight for long, soft-landing shots.

Back: Throughout the set, the flow weighting of the Slingback design shifts the CG higher, closer to the face, and towards the toe as it moves toward the short irons. This progression reduces the launch angle and increases the spin rate while maintaining the ability to hold greens. The CG of the Slingshot irons is suspended in air behind the face, creating Air CG. The Air CG promotes a higher launch angle and makes it easier to square the clubface resulting in greater distance and fewer slices.

Setup: A flat face allows the ball to fully and evenly compress, creating predicable distances and shot patterns. Offset promotes solid contact and improved ball trajectory by positioning the golfer's hands ahead of the ball.

Clubface: The "cold-rolled" custom 455 stainless steel in the clubface has a more consistent molecular structure than clubs having a cast clubface. All Slingshot clubfaces are CNC (Computer Numerically Controlled) milled flat to within .002 of an inch and have engraved scoring lines to ensure consistent and predictable ball flight and spin rates.

Toe: The offset of the Slingshot irons is greater in the long irons to allow additional time to square the clubface before impact
As the emphasis moves from distance (long irons) to control and accuracy (short irons) the offset is gradually reduced throughout the set to allow more shot-making creativity.

Sole: The wide constant sole width of the Slingshot irons increases effective bounce to help prevent digging and "fat" shots.

Shafts: NIKE Constant Weight Slingshot Graphite Shaft. Specifically tuned constant weight shaft provides increased club head speed, optimum distance control, stiffness progression and trajectory throughout the set. NIKE Blue Chip Series Putters

Setup: Single sightline on flange. Added weight distribution in heel and toe for balance.

Face: Precision milled face. Aluminum face insert is 73% softer than steel, for soft feel and added forgiveness. Aluminum face insert is 65% lighter than steel, allowing for weight to be redistributed to heel and toe with dual-density weighting delivering a balanced and pure roll.
